HISTORY
Jack Welch, who started this endeavor, began his adult life as a trucker. He drove transport for 26 years and saw firsthand the problems truckers face when securing loads. He thought that he could do it better, and this is where Dr. Tarp™ began. Since opening in 1989, the company has been making tarps for truckers, designed by a trucker to ensure the best quality and functionality.
Recently, Jack’s younger brother, Joe, took over the family business and increased the plant’s capacity to fabricate more customized products along with the custom truck tarps.
